Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater
Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Ngorongoro. Upon arrival, you descend into the crater for a thrilling game drive across its floor, home to lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, hippos, and abundant birdlife. Later in the evening, you ascend to the crater rim where you will spend the night overlooking the spectacular caldera.
Day 2: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you continue your adventure toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Highlands with an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge. Arrive in central Serengeti for an afternoon game drive in the famous Seronera region, well-known for big cats and abundant wildlife.
Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti
Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti’s vast plains with morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the season, you may follow the Great Migration herds or focus on spotting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. A picnic lunch in the park allows you to enjoy uninterrupted time in the wilderness.
Day 4: Serengeti Exploration
Another day is dedicated to discovering the Serengeti. You may explore new areas of the park in search of elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and more. For an extraordinary experience, you can opt for a hot air balloon safari at sunrise before continuing with your game drives.
Day 5: Serengeti – Arusha / Departure
An early morning game drive gives you a chance to witness the park at its most active, with predators returning from a night hunt. After breakfast, you transfer to Seronera Airstrip for a flight back to Arusha or drive back by road, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
