Day 1: Arrival – Arusha / Moshi
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or in Arusha/Moshi, you will be met by your safari representative and transferred to your lodge for a relaxing evening. Safari briefing will be provided, and you can enjoy your first night preparing for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha/Moshi – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife gathering along the Tarangire River. Enjoy a game drive upon arrival, spotting wildlife across the scenic plains. Optional night game drives or walking safaris may be available.

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti
After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park, enjoying game viewing along the way. Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti plains, where lions, leopards, cheetahs, and herds of wildebeest and zebras abound.

Day 4: Serengeti
Spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park, following the wildlife across open plains, river areas, and seasonal migration hotspots. Optional walking safari or extended game drives can be arranged for more immersive experiences.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
Drive from Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive, where the Big Five roam against one of Africa’s most scenic backdrops.

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a game drive in this scenic park famous for tree-climbing lions, hippos, flamingos, and abundant birdlife. After the safari, continue to your lodge near the park.

Day 7: Lake Manyara – Arusha
Following breakfast, drive back to Arusha. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of the Tanzanian highlands. Arrive in the afternoon for your final safari briefing or relaxation before departure preparations.

Day 8: Arusha – Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or continue with onward travel. Conclude your Classic Safari with lasting memories of Tanzania’s extraordinary wildlife and landscapes.
